It isn't American any more! Unless Daimler is American....

All of my in-laws work in the auto industry (they live close to Detroit- which is the big car manufacturing city in America). My wife's mother and her Dad work for Chrysler. Her Dad is a harcore "buy American" kind of guy (WW II veteran, grew up with only American cars, owned several Chrysler dealerships before he retired, refuses to own anything not stamped "made in USA", etc....). Anyway, since he was involved with Chrysler for so long, he won't even drive a Chevy or a Ford. And he always seems to be driving a new Chrysler car every time I see him. I love to ask him about his cars and then say "Well, yeah, it's nice, but I like to drive American cars....."
It really gets him all riled up.....
